The Laser Treatment:

Before the procedure the areas to be treated are prepared with cleansing solutions. A prescription strength (and totally effective!) local anaesthetic cream is applied to the area and left for 30 minutes until a complete numbing effect has been achieved.

Following the procedure the treated skin will have a deep red appearance, similar to sunburn. This is the natural response of the skin to the laser and normally subsides within 1-2 days.
